Cash Noland
SupervisorCash Noland – a 4th generation rancher Cash grew up as an outdoors man early on in his life, shooting guns, hunting lions, exploring, and working cattle in the Cochise Mountains of Arizona. He went to college to become a game ranger before getting called home to take over the ranch in Lower Eagle Creek Arizona when his father sold the old ranch and moved there in 1996. Cash managed the ranch for most of his young adult life and eventually took over ownership, which was no easy task. The ranch was very remote and rough, some would say it was up hill both ways! This was the training field that helped him develop the Noland Tough mentality to work hard in the most challenging terrain and situations. The ranch life on Lower Eagle Creek was not for the faint of heart and Cash was the type of man to step it up every time. That is why the transition from the ranch to Noland Tough Fence was a good fit! For many years he did both, but later in 2019 sold the cattle and moved to Humboldt, AZ to focus primarily on the business. Cash personally supervises the projects we are building; he stays near the crews and works with the local ranger district staff and land owners to get the job done, making sure we are always in constant communication with our customer, troubleshooting any small or large issue possibly encountered. Cash has proven himself to be a man of his word, honest, reliable and able. He has what it takes to meet the demands of this type of difficult work.
Jorge Bernal
ForemanJorge started cowboying with Noland Ranch in 2013 and later transitioned to Noland Tough full time when we moved to Humboldt in 2019. Jorge is the foreman for NT running his own project and crews, he is very capable, and specializes in caring for the 17 head of horses and mules, packing, shoeing and transporting. Jorge is the company’s mechanic, welder, heavy machine operator and transporter. He has many years’ experiences with this type of work and is ready and willing face any challenge the job may require of him. Jorge is what makes Noland Tough!
Tyler Goseyun
PackerThis packer has been with Noland Tough Fence since 2013, Tyler is a family man and loves to spend his time riding bulls at the rodeos! Tyler is very good with the horses and mules and it is his primary job to care for them. Packing is the supply line of any remote fence project, lots of hard long days and keeping the pack stock in line and safe. Tyler is good at helping to keep the moral of the crew up, and bringing new recruits for the ‘Tough Crew’ aboard!
Julius Paxson
SawyerNoland's main sawyer has also been with Noland Tough Fence since 2013, Julius started cutting for us during our time under the A-S National Forest IDIQ. He was one of the first to join us in adding hazard tree felling to our scope of work. Julius is from Whiteriver, AZ and there are a lot of good sawyers that come from that area. Whether it’s right of way clearing or cutting a swath of any dead or hazard tree that could jeopardize the fence, he has done it all and has many years of this type of work.
